Description

The original company was formed in 1948 as Porcelain Veneer Inc., manufacturing exterior porcelain enamel panels for the service station industry. In 1952, the Company added architectural facings to its product line by manufacturing sun and shade screens for high rise industrial and commercial buildings. In 1968 the Company added continuous steel sheet doors within the United States. This door revolutionized the door industry and with this success the Company put all its resources in this door product line and formed a new Company as Porvene Roll-A-Door, Inc. In 1993 the company was restructured and changed its name to Porvene Doors, Inc. Since 1968, The Company has been the leader in the continuous steel sheet door and now has branched out into the Heavy Duty Rolling Steel Slat Door. In 1990, the Company introduced this product line with the same high standards that were used in the introduction of the continuous steel sheet door in 1968. The design and operation features of the slat door are superior within the industry and can meet the needs and requirements on most applications. The Company has also introduced a Rolling Grille and a Steel Backed Rolling Steel insulated Door with the same high standards as its other products. As a leader within the industrial and commercial door industry, the Company will always manufacture a superior product with innovative designs and techniques to meet our customers needs.
