Founded in 1995, PostWorks is a cornerstone of the New York film and television industry providing editorial technology, edit suites, round-the-clock technical support and sound services to motion picture studios, broadcasters, television producers and independent filmmakers. We support productions in our New York facilities, as well as build, deliver and maintain mobile editorial systems used around the globe.

We provide the flexibility productions need today. When schedules change or unexpected needs arise, we can add editorial or storage resources as needed. Additionally, we provide easy access to other post services. Any of our editorial suites can be linked to other services available within our facility at 100 Avenue of the Americas. Our sister facility, Technicolor – PostWorks New York, also offers full post production facility services including on-line editorial, color grading, duplication, media encoding and high-speed file transmissions.

Technicolor - PostWorks New York is the largest post production facility in New York, providing comprehensive services for film, television and commercials through an exceptional team of artists, engineers and project managers. We offer unsurpassed resources for dailies processing (on-set and off-site), color grading, editorial finishing and visual effects, and feature the most flexible digital intermediate infrastructure in our market. Through PostWorks New York, we also offer non-linear editing systems (available on-site or on-location) and complete sound services.

Our staff are seasoned veterans in post production sound, including a six time Emmy nominee and 2 Emmy award winning mixers. We feature nine mixing studios, including three Dolby certified mix stages, and a variety of sound editorial suites. Our services also include fully equipped ADR/VO and Foley facilities, and a huge, custom sound effects library. Among the largest and best-maintained sound facilities on the East Coast, we are the first choice for sound by independent filmmakers, television producers, documentarians, advertisers and other media producers.
