Where the name Potager Farms comes from.The name Potager by definition is from the French potage, or "soup". The Potager is a kitchen garden where herbs, vegetables and flowers are all grown together. The fashion dates back to medieval monasteries, where the need to be self-sufficient demands a steady supply of soup vegetables as well as herbs and flowers for flavoring, medicinal purposes, and dyes. With that in mind, we thought that was the perfect definition of what we wanted here.
