Description
Potter Motor Co was founded in1952 as a Harley Davidson Motorcycle dealer by Jim Potter. In 1966 Potter Motor Co. began selling golf cars and was appointed Snapper Mower distributor for Southwest Georgia and Southeast Alabama. President Joe Potter has been with his Dad, who is still active in the business, since 1968 and the store is now managed by Nephew Billy Tedrick who has been with Potter Motor Co. over 20 years. Still located at the same intersection in East Albany on Oglethorpe Blvd. at Cason St., Potter Motor proudly represents Ariens, Gravely and Snapper Lawnmowers, Stihl forestry products and Club Car golf and utility vehicles. Potter Motor still provides the traditional quality equipment and service required to remain successful for almost 60 years.
