Description

Poul's Landscaping & Nursery, Inc. was founded in 1966 by Paul Kjeldbjerg. Paul, who emigrated here from Denmark in 1959, started the company with only one employee, a pickup truck, a flat trailer and a Ford tractor (which can still be seen in use today). Originating in Prospect Heights, Paul named the company after the original Danish spelling of his first name, which was later changed when he became a US citizen.
