Power Play Football is a fantasy football game in which you draft NFL players, make trades with other GMs in your league, acquire free agents, submit lineups and guide your team throughout a full season of head-to-head games against other owners in your league. Results are based upon the weekly performance of NFL players. Power Play Fantasy Football uses a wide variety of statistics with every yard credited to calculate a player's total contribution, whether it is positive or negative to your game . It is frustrating to have a player gain their total yards and not have all of them count because they do not reach a certain limit. Power Play Football Leagues consist of 12 teams divided into two 6-team divisions. The regular season is fourteen weeks long with a two week playoff format of the two division winners and two wild-card teams possessing the best records in the league, regardless of division. This makes the regular season mean more than just a formality and still allows a 33% participation in the playoffs. This format usually has the 4 best teams in the league because there are only 2 division winners versus 3 or 4 with a weak division winner making the playoffs. A 16 week season eliminates the dreaded week 17 of the regular season which is a week of football that is typified by partial play and no shows by players on playoff teams.
