PLEASANTON, CA, Jul 06 — Callidus Software Inc. (NASDAQ: CALD), the leader in Sales Performance Management (SPM), announced today it has acquired the leading provider of on-demand portal software for sales enablement, iCentera. "Sales enablement is fundamental to driving effective sales performance.
Proceeds from the financing will be used to develop advanced prototypes of the Company's robotic surgical platform. The Company has engaged two experienced contract manufacturers-Honeybee Robotics and Devicix-to assist in the continued development of the robot and user interface, as well as Peter Hinchliffe, a medical device senior executive with over 17 years of experience managing multiple business areas at USSC (now Covidien) and Datascope (now MAQUET) who holds over 70 issued US patents.
Chronix Biomedical is a molecular diagnostics company developing tests for cancer and organ transplant integrity, including a cancer mutation panel and liquid biopsies for cancer patients and organ transplant patients. Chronix is currently collaborating with cancer groups to provide critical data for their research studies. Chronix expects to complete several larger studies by the end of 2014 and to have its new cancer panel and liquid biopsy tests commercially available by 2015.
