Our mission at Prairie Restorations, Inc. is simple and the "Restorations" part of our name states it concisely. For over 25 years we have designed, restored and managed prairies, wetland, woodland and other native plant communities. We have not taken this work lightly. We know that our health as individuals, as communities, and as a species depends on the health of the environment around us, and plant communities are basic to that environment. The richer, more diverse, and better suited to its site a plant community is, the healthier we all are. Undisturbed native plant communities are healthy, diverse environments and Prairie Restorations, Inc. seeks to protect and maintain these landscapes where they exist and to restore them where they have been destroyed or disturbed.To accomplish this we are committed to producing the highest quality services and materials possible. In business since 1977, we have the knowledge and experience to provide the best seeds, plants and services available. It is our mission to continue to be a leader in the fascinating business of native plant community restoration.The business office and home base of Prairie Restorations, Inc. is located just southwest of Princeton, Minnesota. Much of our excellent seed is grown and processed at this site. Our Retail Store, primary greenhouses and many of our service personnel are located here as well. This is where the majority of our visitors come to see us.
