Jo Ann Wipperfurth , Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP), CEOMs. Jo Ann Wipperfurth owns and operates Pre-Emergency Planning, LLC, which offers consultation and training in the design, development, and execution of customized emergency drills, exercises and training to meet preparedness. In addition to her devotion to serving Pre-Emergency Planning, LLC, she is also a disaster assistance employee for the US Department of Homeland Security, Emergency Preparedness & Response Directorate, Federal Emergency Management Agency. In the past, Ms. Wipperfurth served as the State of Wisconsin, Division of Emergency Management Exercise Training Officer, where she coordinated the State of Wisconsin's Preparedness Program. She is recognized as a qualified instructor with the Louisiana State University and the National Fire Academy in Emergency Response to Terrorism curriculum. Ms. Wipperfurth also brings experience as an Operations Manager for a hospital based Emergency Medical Services System. Her diverse background includes serving on a Level B Hazardous Materials team, certification as a Wisconsin Firefighter I, Emergency Medical Technician Intermediate, and being an adjunct faculty member in the Wisconsin Technical College System in First Responder and Basic Life Support Education. Currently, Ms. Wipperfurth serves on the Town of Lodi EMS Commission, a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers, recognized as a Certified Emergency Manager Level Four in Wisconsin and holds a degree in Management and Communication from Concordia University.
