The Precis Group of companies was established in 1988 with Precis Development Inc. being the parent company. We have been in the solar industry since 1979 as B&P Solar of San Diego prior to changing our name to Precis Solar, and now that the Federal & State incentives along with the technologies have caught up with the demands of our times, solar just makes sense! With over 20 years of experience working with Solar, Wind and Water energy systems.

This is a 10.08 kilowatt photovoltaic solar system. They were frustrated with the cost of running their A/C. After doing their research, they chose Precis Solar to provide their energy solution. Both home owners commented that after years of experience with contractors, they were very happy with the level of professionalism and how clean the job site was left. Providing unique design solutions and a timely install, the customers were all smiles watching their meter spin backwards.

(PV) are a non-polluting source of energy that is increasingly being recognized as a major renewable technology for the future. Photovoltaic Panels have been used for over 40 years to convert energy from the sun into electricity.

The customer had unique design requests, and required the panels to be installed on both the north and south facing roofs. Precis was able to provide the proper design solution while improving performance. This 7.68 kilowatt system performs so well, the customer elected to exercise AB920 NEM surplus electricity compensation option, which allows the customer to be compensated for all surplus energy produced.
