Precision Strip, Incorporated was founded in 1977 by Jack Eiting, Marie Eiting, Tom Wente, Don Craft and Joan Eilerman. Our original operations included a used slitting line located in a 15,500 sq. ft. building in Minster, Ohio. Our founders' original intent was to remain a small company that serviced its customers well, and our “old-timers” often comment that there were never going to be more than nine associates. However, the exceptional customer service and commitment to providing a quality product by our early associates led to an ever increasing demand for our services, and the company quickly began a growth pattern that has never stopped. Over the years we have earned a reputation for being the world’s premier toll processor. We provide the most diverse array of services in the industry, continually advance technologically, and make a commitment to partnering with our customer for our mutual success. The long tenure of our associates, as well as the lengthy customer relationships we have established, speak to the company’s values and our commitment to people. Today we have grown to over 1,000 associates at eleven locations. Our facilities include three million square feet of building space, 24 slitting lines, nine cut-to-length lines, a blanking line, a perforating line, four oscillate slitting lines, and a gang slitter. We also operate a fleet of 200 tractor-trailers units. Over the years we have broken ground 37 times for new buildings or expansions to our current facilities. One of the founders of the company, Tom Wente, continues to be actively involved in our operations.
