Andy was certified as an arborist by ISA in 2011 and has worked with Preservation Tree Services and within the tree care and horticulture industry for the past 8 years. Here at PTS, Andy also works behind the scenes in production and operations to help the company grow. He's also our resident IT guy, helping to fix things on the back end. He finds enjoyment daily in helping clients achieve their budget goals while benefiting urban trees.

For example, here is a Black Walnut tree that we recently had to remove from a customer’s property. Black Walnut makes for stunningly beautiful lumber and we hated to see the tree go to waste. So we brought in special equipment to remove the trunk of the tree in its entirety so that we could make it into useable lumber. We will be working with local artisans, furniture companies and builders to make sure the lumber finds a new home. We feel this is local recycling at its best!.

Chad is our resident science-geek. He has been certified arborist since 2009 and has 13 years of work experience in the horticulture industry. Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences Fish & Wildlife from Montana State University.
