Bob has been a supporter of Hampton Beach and has been an active member of the Hampton Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, past president, board, & executive board member. He, along with his wife Charlotte Keefe Preston moved to Hampton Beach full time in 1962. They owned and operated three restaurants on Ocean Boulevard over the years. Bob served 9 consecutive terms as a State Senator and was a wonderful representative for the seacoast of New Hampshire. Generations have been renting and buying property from the Preston Family.
