Primary Health, Inc. is an integrated health care delivery network consisting of a medical group with employed primary care and specialty physicians, an insurance company offering group managed care insurance offerings, and a physicians network organized into an independent physician association. What is today an integrated health care delivery system began its life in early 1992 as a concept by Dr. Robert Gilbert, an emergency physician, that physicians should band together to form an improved health services model for delivering and paying for health care in Idaho.
