Since inception in 1984, we have built a solid reputation with users of our products.I am Sharon Rouse Bryant, the founder of Pro-Tec Pet Health. It has been my goal to develop natural products to improve the quality of life for animals. As a breeder of the Hamilton line of Lhaso Apso (SHARBO), I was successful in showing my dogs for many years. Afterwards, while owning two grooming shops, I noticed many dogs being brought in for grooming that looked very bad - some could hardly sit up on the grooming table. Besides having a poor quality of life, many were dying at an early age. Feeling empathy for these unfortunate animals, I decided that something must be done to help them.I took the problem to Dr. Ted Aarons. As director of Protein Research Associates in Hayward, California, he has been active in amino acid research for many years and is an authority on nutrition. With his expertise and under his guidance, BODYGUARD was formulated and improved over the years, as new knowledge was gained concerning the nutritional needs of dogs and cats.
