Headquartered in Libertyville, IL, Wm. W. Meyer & Sons is a third-generation family-owned business dedicated to providing quality products and service to the air process/bulk material handling industry as well as insulation blowing and commercial duct cleaning contractors.

Mr. Buric was instrumental in the Company’s move in 2007 to the newly constructed state-of-the-art location in Libertyville, IL from the original home for over 60 years in Skokie, IL. This 80,000 square foot plant made it possible for all operations to take place under one roof.

During the 1920's, William W. Meyer, Sr. worked for Roots Blower in Connersville, Indiana. He was a hard working employee, but he dreamed of owning his own business. So in 1933, armed with his experience servicing blowers and pumps, Bill Meyer set out on his own. His new venture, General Blower Company, began manufacturing centrifugal fans for industrial ventilation, pneumatic conveying, dust collection and gas boosting in Chicago, Illinois. Despite the Depression and World War II, Bill Meyer's business continued to succeed.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL--On November 19, 2012, Wm. W. Meyer & Sons Inc. will be spotlighted in a 2-minute production called "Manufacturing Marvels®". Manufacturing Marvels® airs on The Fox Business Network at 8:30pm CST, and is produced by award winning producers Bob and Jerry May. The 2-minute profiles, spotlight selected American manufacturers, their products, and the company's manufacturing and testing processes.
