ProFlite of Alaska LLC

Description

Mike Morgan, CFII is the co-founder and Chief Flight Instructor of ProFlite of Alaska, LLC. Mike has been flying for almost 40 years, and has been a Certified Flight Instructor for over 30 years. He has flown a wide variety of aircraft, from the Cessna 150 (the perfect trainer plane in his humble opinion), to Beechcraft 1900. He has over 14,000 hours total flying time, with 4,000 in dual instruction given and 10,000 flying commercially.

Jeff Meinel, CFII, has been flying a wide range of fixed wing and helicopter aircraft for over 20 years, and has over 10,000 hours total time. He began his career as a Flight Instructor in 1992 in Burbank, CA. The next year he came north to Alaska as Assistant Chief Pilot at a small air carrier in Barrow. Three years later he moved up to a Captain with PenAir, flying the famed Southwest Alaska / Aleutian / Pribilof region in a Fairchild Metroliner, and flew with them until 2003. Meanwhile, Jeff began training with the Air Force in 1999, and now flies full time with the military.

Tom Trainor , Certified Flight Instructor, began his flight training as a high school student. He soloed at Oxford Airport, CT, when he was 17, and completed his private pilot check ride shortly after at Montpelier, VT - flying out of Berlin, NH while working a summer trail construction job for the Appalachian Mountain Club. He then entered a professional pilot training program at the University of New Haven, completing an Associates Degree in Aviation Science and acquiring his commercial and multi-engine ratings.
