In 2005, wanting to provide customers with a broader base of genetics, Producers Hybrids joined with AgReliant Genetics – the largest independent seed business and the third largest corn and soybean seed company in the United States. AgReliant Genetics was formed in 2000 by Limagrain, a French-based farmer-owned company, and KWS, a family-run company headquartered in Germany. Together, these two well-respected global businesses bring more than 200 years of experience in seed genetics and technology.

Twenty-five years in the seed industry has given Producers Hybrids all the tools required for ambitious growth. Located in the heart of the Corn Belt, we have the right location, the right partners, the right team and the right motivation to move ahead of our competitors. We are making great strides, starting with a new 15,000 square foot research facility in Ames, Iowa along with our partner AgReliant Genetics. We are ready to expand our loyal customer base by reaching out to new territories while operating under our basic values of respect, integrity, fairness and hard work.
