An internationally known expert in multiple myeloma and hematopoietic malignancies, Dr. Wolf also specializes in bone marrow transplantation for treatment of a variety of other cancers. Dr. Wolf is the Director of the Multiple Myeloma Program in the Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and a Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCSF. He founded the first stem cell transplant unit in Northern California at the Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Berkeley which also happened to be the first ever in a community hospital. Dr.
Mr. Tahamtanzadeh has been a business leader in the areas of epigenetics, genomics, pathology laboratory systems and next generation diagnostics for more than 12 years after an earlier 7-year career in research and development in biomarker assay development. Previous to founding PrognosDx, he was Director of Business Development at Ventana Medical Systems, Inc a leading international diagnostic company (acquired by Roche). There, Kamran was an instrumental member of the translational diagnostic team and helped successfully negotiate a key partnership with Genentech, Inc.
Ms. Warner is a proven managed markets reimbursement executive with significant experience across diverse payor channels in molecular diagnostics and personalized medicine where she has driven adoption and favorable coverage terms. She brings over 30 years of experience from both the biotech industry, as well as healthcare organizations. Since 2007 she has been focused on gaining access and reimbursement from national payors for laboratory diagnostics in the areas of hematological malignancies as well as breast, colon and prostate cancer.
Harald Ekman has 23 years of experience in corporate finance, capital markets, and venture capital. He is a private investor, focusing on start-up companies in life sciences and green technology. He is on the board of directors of Eco-Gear LLC, a company developing a new technology to improve fuel efficiency and safety in trucks and cars. Between 2007 and 2012, he was one of the founding Partners of The Column Group, a San Francisco-based venture capital firm investing in early stage biotechnology companies.
