Our experience in car audio installations culminates with the overall design of the system’s parts, connections and configurations to ensure the desired outcome. When building a house, architects develop blueprints before one piece of wood is cut, one yard of concrete is poured or one electrical wire is installed. We approach a car’s audio system in the same manner. We create a system design to have a roadmap of the work to be done so that we address all the goals each customer wishes to accomplish. With a comprehensive detail of our system design process, an installation is a productive endeavor where only the highest quality work is done and even the smallest of details are addresses. You wouldn’t build a home without blueprints and a solid plan, so we believe you shouldn’t approach any car audio system (regardless of the complexity) without a solid system design plan. At Progressive Audio, we have many expert system designers on our experienced staff that creates system designs just for you.

A significant difference of a GPS navigation system installed in your vehicle is the number of available channels to ‘see’ satellites so that you have the greatest chance of accurately showing your position and progress throughout the route. All GPS-based navigation requires at least three satellites to provide latitude and longitude location. A fourth satellite is required to add in accurate elevation readings. Most of the GPS-navigation products we offer have between 8 and 12 receiver channels, which is as many satellites as are typically ‘within view’ of the antenna at a given location. With our navigation systems, you have the best chance of gathering the GPS data necessary to provide meaningful navigation of your route in many weather conditions. This is something a smartphone, as great as they are, often can’t do well.
