Oliver Cunningham is a multi-lingual, enthusiastic and internationally focused humanitarian professional with over three years’ experience in international development and humanitarian response. He brings that experience to his role as a needs assessor for Project C.U.R.E. Project C.U.R.E. is the world's largest distributor of donated medical supplies and equipment to developing countries. It has been in operation for 26 years and last year alone the organization delivered over 56 million dollars’ worth of medical supplies and equipment. Out of its Denver warehouse, Project C.U.R.E.

Michael Fry has worked for Project C.U.R.E. for more than six years and has been the Operations Manager since 2011. His duties include managing volunteers in the Operations Department, load planning forty-foot cargo containers, warehouse inventory management, and facilitating transportation of containers from Project C.U.R.E. warehouses to recipient destinations. Prior to working with Project C.U.R.E. Michael attended the GraduateSchool for International Studies at the University of Denver and received his M.A. in International Development in 2007 and also holds a B.A.

Our Kits for Kids provide personal hygiene and basic "medicine cabinet" items that are scarce in the developing world. If a child gets hurt, families might have to travel a long distance by bicycle, bus or even on foot to receive care at the nearest hospital or medical clinic. Working with pediatricians and nurses, Project C.U.R.E. developed Kits for Kids to give parents in developing countries the supplies they need to provide basic care at home. A bar of soap encourages handwashing, too. Kits for Kids is a great service learning project or family activity!

Project C.U.R.E. ( C ommission on U rgent R elief and E quipment) was founded in 1987 by James Jackson, who was working as an international economic consultant in developing countries when his work put him face to face with the needs of the sick and dying. During a trip to Brazil, Dr. Jackson visited a small clinic near Rio de Janeiro, where he learned that patients were often turned away due to a lack of basic medical supplies. Jackson was moved to action, making a promise to the clinic doctor that he would help provide relief to the people there.

Project C.U.R.E. has been an industry leader in developing new ways to allow the organization to provide the highest quality donated medical supplies and equipment possible to resource-limited communities across the globe, including efficient and accurate inventory systems, supply chain management, expert management of logistics and strong in-country relationships. Project C.U.R.E. also offers numerous domestic and international volunteer opportunities. Since its founding, Project C.U.R.E. has reached patients, families and children in 130 countries .
