The project also involved the successful negotiation of a major joint-venture project with the Pima County Regional Flood Control District, wherein 25 acres of the property was dedicated to same for their construction and maintenance of a joint-use flood control project and public park which not only solved a long-standing flooding problem in the surrounding region, but which also now provides for a new park and recreational amenity for the project and surrounding community.

Eric Davis, President Retail West Properties, LLC Boise, ID Retail West Properties, LLC has enjoyed a long working relationship with Jim Portner, Projects International, as we concluded a multitude of unique and complex land use entitlements and approvals to construct the 108-acre Tucson Marketplace, the retail /commercial component of The Bridges development at I-10 and Kino Blvd. in Tucson. Our partnership paid $22 million for the site in June 2005 and took on the challenge of zoning and planning in a notoriously complicated and difficult jurisdictional environment.

My name is Jim Portner and I am the president of Projects International, Inc. PI was established in 1995 and fulfills a specialized and vital role in the Tucson, Arizona land development market. There are no junior employees. I take personal responsibility for fulfilling every aspect of our company philosophy and approach, and in making sure you achieve your development objectives.
