PromaSys specializes in the design and implementation of end-to-end web and Windows applications. Its clients consist maily of Silicon Valley firms and their associates nation-wide. PromaSys' range of services includes: PromaSys uses the Process Advisor™ methodology from Shaw Resources to profile processes and acquire high-level requirements, and determine deliverables and use cases. UML tools, along with object oriented design concepts, are then used to develop a working specification to build application components. -Interface design: The end-user view is designed based on the use scenarios defined above. Esthetics and ergonomics are taken into account. PromaSys has created custom graphic objects to provide users with efficient and agile interfaces. See our portfolio for examples. -Database design: PromaSys specializes in Microsoft SQL Server, a high performance, enterprise-class data management platform, with the lowest maintenance and operating costs in the industry. PromaSys designs data warehouses for efficient and speedy data collection. Data marts are designed to support specific application needs as well as reporting. -Reporting Services: PromaSys designs business intelligence solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. Linked and paramatized reports are presented in a web-based interface. Users can save reports in popular electronic formats, as well as have the reports emailed to them on a schedule. Reporting data needs are incorporated in database designs. -SharePoint Services & SharePoint Portal Server: PromaSys architects solutions using SharePoint, an information sharing and collaboration web portal that is closely integrated with Microsoft's Office suite of applications. SharePoint objects as well as SharePoint web services are used to design and populate custom web parts.
