WHAT MAKES PROMET DIFFERENT International Network of Manufacturers We work with multiple optical shops from around the world instead of tying our selves to one or two production houses. The fabrication of high quality optical components is a complex process that requires years of hands on experience and a high level of knowledge in a very particular area. For this reason many optical component manufactures excel in the production of only several specific optical components. A shop that specializes in the production of small prisms may not be as well suited to produce cylindrical lenses or spherical surfaces. Likewise a high volume production shop may have lower prices but require longer lead times even for small orders. By assessing your exact requirements we draw upon our 13 years of first hand experience to select an optical shop that will most efficiently produce a quality optical component to meet your exact needs. In-house Testing and Certification Unlike many other suppliers of optical components we have sophisticated in-house quality control labs that rigorously test and certify every parameter of your optical component to ensure that the final product meets or exceeds your specified criteria. There is an old saying in the optics industry "If you can't measure it, don't buy it". We've worked hard to overcome this problem by acquiring the tools and the experience that is essential in the inspection of optical parameters required by today's demanding optical applications. We also go a step further by holding optics shops accountable for their work. If any parameters are not within specifications, you don't pay.
