Prometheus was founded in early 1996 by President and CEO Nicholas Peters. Together, the financial principals of Prometheus have nearly forty years of private equity experience investing exclusively in smaller middle market service businesses that generate recurring revenues. Their exclusive focus and expertise has been integral to the growth and success of the companies in which Prometheus invests.

The principals of Prometheus have 15 years of experience investing in nationally-franchised restaurant businesses. The principals of Prometheus have extensive experience in investing in these types of businesses having built sixteen platforms through the acquisition of nearly 80 companies.

From 1985 to 1988, Mr. Peters was a Director in Chase Investment Bank’s Syndications Group, where he structured and placed over $8 billion in LBO and acquisition financings. Mr. Peters has extensive experience in private equity and LBO finance. He was previously a member of Chase’s Corporate Finance, Swaps, Debt Syndications, and Financial Institutions Groups.
