OUR HISTORY Pronto Signs was established in the late 1960's as Pronto Plastic Products. At that time, Pronto made only vacuum-formed plastic signs to help pick-up truck owners comply with state laws at that time. Pronto Signs was purchased by the current owner, Tom Koesser in 1977 as a part-time job and was run out of his garage. In 1988, Tom took Pronto full-time and opened a retail storefront on Sheridan Road in Zion, IL. Pronto Signs in Zion was one of the first, if not, the first storefront "sign shop" in Lake County.
