Dennis Prout, Investment Advisor Representative, has been in the retirement planning industry for over 25 years. Fueled by his aspiration to empower clients by education, Dennis founded Prout Financial Design in 1980. This foundational belief system has a ripple effect on every facet of his business practice and life. Dennis is in direct relationship with each client, offering prudent financial guidance, perspective and advice. He provides financial products and services that are thoughtful and congruent with his conservative investment philosophy.

As our Client Services Administrator, Kathi is the primary scheduler for appointments with Dennis and other team members. She assists with inquiries, directs calls, and advocates for our clients in the accomplishment of their specific requests. Kathi is the point of contact for processing annuity reallocations, long term care illustrations, and assists with life insurance quotes for prospective and current clients. She is a licensed producer for the state of Michigan for Long Term Care Insurance, working towards her Certified Long Term Care license (CLTC).

Prout Financial Design was founded in 1990 when Dennis Prout came to the conclusion that financial advisees could most effectively learn about and understand their finances in a classroom setting. He realized the fundamental distinction between telling one's clients about finances and teaching them about finances, and the latter continues to be our core focus: everything we do centers around our client's continuing education in successful retirement strategies.
