Psychological Health Associates is always seeking to develop more effective and efficient treatment strategies. Toward this end, we have developed skills and expertise in Solution-Focused Therapy, hypnosis, group therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) . In addition to providing direct clinical services, we have begun to provide training opportunities both for clinicians and in the corporate area.

PHA's treatment philosophy is to provide brief, solution-focused care utilizing a goal-directed orientation; we recognize that every individual is unique and attempt to provide the most appropriate services on an individualized basis. We pride ourselves on maintaining a family-practice orientation, where we work with children, parents, couples, individuals, families, and groups as each situation calls for, providing the most cost-effective and appropriate level of care. PHA is an active provider for most insurance and managed care companies in Connecticut.

In addition to providing therapeutic services, Psychological Health Associates provides a full range of diagnostic services, including drug and alcohol abuse evaluations , child custody evaluations , neuropsychological assessments, as well as traditional psychological testing and medication evaluations.

Alison DiPinto MA, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been in private practice for the past 11 years. Alison practices at PHA's Danbury office only. She received her Master's Degree from St. Joseph College in West Hartford, CT. Although Alison has extensive experience working with children she currently counsels older teens and adults. Particular areas of interest and expertise are depression, anxiety, early life trauma, midlife issues, domestic violence, divorce and parenting. Alison is also a Reiki Master and a life long trained dancer. She works with the whole person: mind, body, and spirit.
