Founded in 1994, PAC identified a need for independent financial advisory services catering exclusively to not-for-profit healthcare providers. Recent changes in federal law imposed by the Dodd-Frank Act now define and regulate the financial advisory services provided by underwriters, investment-banks, and independent registered municipal advisors. Going forward, underwriters and investment banks will be limited in the advisory services they can provide to clients. As an independent registered municipal advisor, PAC is able to offer not-for-profit healthcare Boards and Management compliance with the newly implemented restrictions when seeking financial advice.
