Description

Born in Seattle, Kokie earned her B.A. in 1986 from Hampshire College where she focused on the juvenile justice system and education reform. She received her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston in 1989. While in law school she interned for the Honorable William Dwyer, federal judge for the Western District of Washington and served on Senator Edward Kennedy’s staff of the Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee. Upon her return to Seattle, she practiced with the Seattle firm of Davis Wright Tremaine before joining Doug Purcell in Lynnwood in 1993.
