Northeastern's cooperative education, or "co-op" program, began in 1909 and provides employers exposure to developing talent and a pipeline to potential employees. Students work for 6-month cycles as full-time employees while gaining first-hand experience in the workforce preparing them for their future careers.

Sudbury, Massachusetts - Co-founders Trevor Nelson and Brian Whittemore opened a new Pure ® location in Chatham, MA. This branch of the organic tick and mosquito control company is managed by Rory Nickerson and services Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. Based in Sudbury, this is the second Pure ® location in Massachusetts, with others throughout the Northeastern and Central United States. Ticks are a persistent problem in Cape Cod. According to the CDC, Barnstable and Dukes are two of the highest-risk counties for Lyme disease in Massachusetts.

Chatham, Massachusetts - Pure Solutions has implemented a new rain-water collection system in Chatham. The self-sufficient water collection system was installed by Cape Cod General Manager, Rory Nickerson, and Field Specialist, John Proudfoot. "We not only give our customers green and eco-conscience options for tick and mosquito control, but we also practice and embody the same values in our business practices," said Rory Nickerson. The newly installed rainwater collection system holds 2,100 gallons of filtered rainwater.

We are trained and certified to combat mosquitoes , ticks , and deer in a capacity that is safe. Organic treatments of PROGAEA™ eliminate mosquitoes and ticks on contact, as well as larvae and eggs, and as part of our routine program develop a residual that prevents them from returning. We continue to develop strategies and programs to meet the needs of our clients and the current season.
