Using the skills and experience gained from many years in the custom software and consulting business, Pyramid Software Development, Incorporated has recently expanded its business to include application software products for vertical markets and system management tools. Vertical Application Software: In 2003, Pyramid released AirTime Billing , an invoice billing system for resellers of telecommunications equipment and services. This package employs a rules-based system to parse data files from carriers and then applies the reseller's billing rates and policies to generate customer invoices. The application also includes a web component that permits the reseller's customers to check the status of their usage on a daily basis. A demonstration version of this software is available on our download page. System Management Software: In association with Teledatics LLC , Pyramid released Satellite Signal Tester , a tool that tests the signal strength of a Globalstar unit. This tool enables development of "smart" communications scripts that only attempt WAN connections when signal strength is adequate.
