The Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce is the community and economic development organization serving western Illinois and eastern Iowa. As the largest business organization in the region, we are committed to advancing the economic strength of our community. The Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization in western Illinois and eastern Iowa, representing nearly 2,000 businesses that encompass over 80,000 employees. More than 85% of Chamber members are small businesses with 50 or fewer employees. The Chamber is led by a 48-person Board of Directors representing businesses of all sizes and industries, in Illinois and Iowa. The work of the Chamber is carried out by a professional staff along with hundreds of volunteers dedicated to advancing the region.

Hosting interns is a valuable way for businesses to meet their workforce needs, as well as a key element to developing talent in the region. An internship is a hands-on work experience in which students apply the principles they've learned in the classroom to the real-world setting.
