The game call industry was in its infancy when the Kirby's started. They were overwhelmed by the "giant" game call manufacturers of the time. Dick realized, in his words that, "the opportunity was there, and we went for it!" The business began with Dick and Beverly working hand in hand with one common goal, to provide today's sportsman with the highest quality, most user-friendly and innovative equipment ever. Quaker Boy began with just a few employees, with each serving many job functions.

Quaker Boy Inc. is proud to announce a partnership with Mossy Oak Turkey Thugs to introduce an elite line of turkey hunting calls and accessories featuring the Thug logo. Combined with over 50 years of industry experience, these products reflect unmatched knowledge, design and craftsmanship, all proudly made in the USA. A portion of the sales from this series of products will be donated to benefit the Outdoor Recreation Heritage Fund (ORHF). The ORHF was founded to permanently fund support for wounded/disabled American service members and their families.
