Quality Assurance Service Corporation was founded in 1981, and is registered with the FDA as a manufacturer of Diagnostic Materials. Our staff includes a former inspector for CAP-FUDT and SAMHSA who is available for consultation. A QAS representative is available Monday through Friday to answer questions, schedule consultations and provide pricing information. We manufacture custom controls to your specifications, using drug-free human whole blood, urine or serum. Pure analytes or their metabolites are added according to client instructions and then frozen or lyophilized. We aliquot any size from 2ml to 500ml for frozen products and 5ml to 50ml for lyophilized urine products and 2ml to 25ml for serum and blood products. Prices are determined from number of analytes, aliquot size, total volume and lyophilized or frozen state of product. CERTIFIED PROFICIENCY SPECIMENS FOR BLIND TESTING Our blind proficiency specimens are manufactured from human urine derived from donors screened for Hepatitis and HIV by FDA required testing. Pure analytes or their metabolites are added to represent a real patient urine specimen. Each specimen contains 65ml of urine and or their analytes is packed in plastic bottles, frozen and shipped by Next Day Air. The target concentration of each analyte is certiied by a SAMSHA laboratory. Custom formulations are also available for specific problem solving challenges for laboratory directors and Quality Assurance management staff.
