“The Mackowskis answered questions promptly; this was important to us as my wife was working in France during the entire process. She basically handled all contact with the remodeler through e-mails and phone calls. The vendors used were especially accommodating in this regard. All of the final designs and all of the individual decisions (floor, tile, door hardware, etc.) were made without her ever being in the US. The first time she saw the house was in December, well after it was finished. She was thrilled. Very helpful regarding color choices, cabinets, countertops, lighting options etc. Since we were basically doing this over the internet (wife was working in France the entire time), many of the little details would have been overwhelming if not for the patience and knowledge of all involved (vendors/contractors/architect/work crew)”
