We are the only testing firm on the Gulf Coast with a certified registered Professional Engineer in the lab to monitor all testing evolutioins. President John P Oliver, III PE Holds an AS in Engineering, and a BS and Masters degree in Civil Engineering. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the states of Mississippi and Florida, and has over thirty-five years experience in construction planning, execution, supervision, quality control, and management. As a retired U. S. Navy, Civil Engineer Corps Officer, he has been responsible for quality control of construction projects in Europe, Asia, and in the continental United States. John is an American Concrete Institute certified Grade 1 Technician and is MDOT Level 2 certified. He is also nuclear density gauge certified. In addition, he is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Society of American Military Engineers. Vice President Jerry L Cleary Over thirty years experience in construction materials testing and is an American Concrete Institute certified Grade 1 Technician and a Mississippi Department of Transportation Level 1 and Level 2 certified concrete technician. He has served as a quality control engineer and technician for several construction firms and testing laboratories. He has also served as the Title II Geotechnical Quality Assurance Inspector for the United States Government on the Naval Station Pascagoula homeport project, Pascagoula, MS. His many certifications in concrete, asphalt, and soils testing from the National Ready-Mix Concrete Association and the Mississippi State Highway Department attest to his vast experience in construction testing. In addition, Jerry has been certified as a qualified opera ­tor for nuclear density gauges. Business Manager Jack Bowell Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Southern Mississippi and is responsible for all office management, administrative, and human resources for the firm. He is a qualified operator for nuclear density gauges and has been trained and is experienced in soil and concrete testing. Administrative Assistant Hope Shook Support management and staff in daily office and administrative. Senior Technician Tom Randazzo Trained and is experienced in asphalt, soil, and concrete testing. His is certified as a qualified operator for nuclear density gauges, and has completed American Concrete Institute training and is a certified Grade 1 Technician and is MDOT Level 2 certified. Technician James T Richmond II Trained and is experienced in soil (lab & field) and field concrete testing. Terry has recently retired as leading Chief Petty Officer with the United States Navy Construction Forces. He has 24 years experience in the construction trades and has been responsible for construction quality control supervision in the Far East and continental United States. Drilling Supervisor/Technician Bill Shelnutt Thirty years experience with geotechnical investigations. Bill has been associated with Law Engineering Testing Company and Woodward-Clyde consultants as Senior Driller and Drilling supervisor.
