Willard Stambaugh, our company President and founder, has been involved solely in golf course construction since 1963, when he began working for his uncle the day after his high school graduation. Almost four decades later Willard is still involved in every facet of operation from the bidding process in the office to leading one of our crews in the field. Stambaugh Construction and later Quality Golf was founded in 1977 with a belief in integrity and honest that has been the cornerstone our company has been built on. Willard ’s strong religious conviction as a born again Christian have made Quality Golf what it is today. Willard ’s oldest son, Rob, acts as the company Vice President and operations manager. Rob too, has grown up in the Golf Course Construction industry, and when he came on full time in 1986, it was with the commitment to follow in his father ’s footsteps. Quality Golf is a family owned and operated business and as such everything done by Quality Golf from a one green renovation to a complete new construction, is done with pride so that Quality Golf will be a name associated with integrity and a commitment to a job well done, not only in this generation but those to come as well. Who We Are Not Quality Golf is not a huge corporate conglomerate with a finger in every area of construction from buildings to roads, spread out so thin and so large that we bid against ourselves on jobs. Nor is Quality Golf held by stockholders or controllers who see golf course construction as just another finical step. Quality Golf is a family owned and operated business specializing in golf course construction and renovation, that ’s it! Our President is our owner and founder and our Vice President is his son. That gives us the ability to meet you where you are one on one. We understand that golf course construction is not just an occupation but a passion. Our reputation and our company have been built one golf course at a time in a way that demonstrates the dedication and professionalism of our people.
