Keith Barker, President & CEO Mr. Barker is currently the president of Questiny Engineering and is responsible for all aspects of Questiny Group, Incorporated He has over 25 years of experience in management and engineering within the satellite and terrestrial communications industry. Prior to Questiny Group, Mr. Barker was the VP of Digital Television Products at Liberate Technologies where he manged an international group delivering interactive television into cable systems around the world. Mr. Barker also held the position as the VP of Operations and Engineering at CyberStar, LP where he was responsible for designing and launching their satellite data broadcast service in the US in 1997. That system delivered broadband satellite service beginning to computers at data rates in excess of 30 Mbps. In addition, Mr. Barker has held managerial and technical positions at Space Systems Loral, Rockwell International (now Boeing), Advent Systems (now Titan), and at the National Security Agency. Mr. Barker holds several patents and has authored articles on satellite communications technology. Mr. Barker’s most recent papers have been presented at Milcom on estimating the effects of open-loop power margin on CDMA-based land-mobile satellite communications capacity, and on reducing the effects of intermodulation products in non-linear amplifiers.
