RAMI Awards

Description

Each year the RAMI organization hosts several events to help fund the Gary S. Wilmer RAMI Music Scholarship and to promote the local music community. Our premier event is the RAMI Awards Ceremony which is held in April each year. The RAMI Awards recognize and celebrate the efforts of groups and individuals who have involvement in the local music community. Other events include a benefit, held in March each year, featuring some of the premier retro/pop bands in the area. 2010 Youth Charity Jam Winners 1st Place - Hope Despite 2nd Place - Alanas Mark 3rd Place - The Morning After All the bands were great. Thank you to all that came out to support these up and coming bands. The contestants: Taxi Greita Village Idiot The Morning After Hope Despite Bloom Alanas Mark Escape There were over 500 in attendance and a special thanks to LaMonica, Monster Drink, Guzzardo Performance Music, Beetcafe.com, Darkhouse Productions, Rock River Times, the Tebala Shrine Temple and their members as well as all the judges - Arik Jenkins, Mike Blaisdell, Gordy Butt, Frank Schier, and members of In Youth We Trust - Austin Laue, Hayden Wilsey, Tommy Patterson & Kayla Foster.
