RAZ to videotape at Irwindale Speedway again in 2003 For the second year in a row RAZ Video will again be videotaping every event held at the Irwindale Speedway 1/2 and 1/3 mile oval. Irwindale Speedway is the place to be on Saturday Nights, good food and great racing, we are very pleased to continue our ever expanding relationship with Southern California's popular NASCAR track said RAZ owner Harald Zechner. The voice of Irwindale Speedway Bruce Flanders will again be the official traveling track announcer for the Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART). The veteran announcer, who just celebrated his silver anniversary of announcing at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, will again go on the road in 2003. I'm only out of town for 10 Irwindale races out of thirty-four," said the peripatetic pro-nouncer of plu-perfect pronouns. I'm sad that RAZ will not be able to cover the California Speedway scene as in years past but with Irwindale running 81 different events in 2003 we just can't do it.
