RCIL has a proud history of services and supports for people with disabilities, by people with disabilities. YO! was founded in much of the same way; teens and young adults with disabilities getting together to provide support and friendship to each other.

His mother, Kristin, is employed as a nurse and has worked with countless numbers of patients with disabilities, "but it's completely different when it's your own family," she said.

RCIL is a not-for-profit and non residential organization that provides services, advocacy and outreach to people with disabilities and seniors in need of assistance. The pride of our organization is comprised of people with disabilities for people with disabilities. We utilize a peer-based approach to assist you with achieving your Independent Living goals. Our services are designed to provide a disability resource center and community support services to enable you to live without restriction and have the necessary knowledge of your rights and independent living aids available to you.
