With over 17 years of transportation and logistics experience, Doug will be headquartered in the Los Angeles RCS office. Doug graduated with a BA in International Relations from Chico State University . Prior to joining RCS, he started his career with Tower Group International in Seattle as a broker. Moving to San Francisco , he became an ocean import manager with Expeditors. In 1997, he joined Kuehne & Nagel as a sales representative focusing on total supply chain solutions for multinational organizations. He was promoted overseas to Hong Kong in 2000 to further develop and manage the transpacific trade. Doug's vast logistical experience will serve a diverse group of clients with interests throughout the world. Please support and welcome Doug as we look forward to RCS expanding its footprint as a premiere logistics provider on the West Coast. 20 March, 2009 RCS Logistics takes "2009 Rookie of the Year Award" On Wed FEB 11 in Hong Kong , RCS Logistics received the 2009 Rookie of the Year award at the 9 th Annual Limited Logistics Service Awards dinner. This award was given to RCS Logistics due to a seamless integration into the Limited business through a 98.5% on time performance for the first 9 months of handling the LLS business in Hong Kong , Cambodia , Manila , and Jakarta . In addition, RCS Logistics had the required EDI messages up and running in 30 days. In attendance at the dinner representing RCS Logistics was Philip Liu - Managing Director - Asia , Brian Heaney - President, and Evan Rosen – Vice President – Sales. Evan Rosen said; “It is an honor to be recognized for the hard work of the global team handling the Limited/Mast business. To have implemented this business just 9 months ago and receive the positive feedback via this recognition is a true testament to RCS Logistics ability to deliver on commitments. ” RCS Logistics at the 2008 Ports & Flags Night The Port of Charleston and the World Trade Council of Middle Tennessee held the 2008 Ports & Flags Night at the Loews Vanderbilt Plaza on Thursday, October 30 th . RCS Logistics participated in this annual event draws over 400 International business executives representing Middle TN's finest businesses. Each year the World Trade Council of Middle TN gives out over $6000 worth of scholarships to outstanding and deserving students.
