Robert Derector Associates is a full service engineering firm with a local feel and a global reach. Founded in October 1980, RDA's practice focuses on the MEP engineering design and commissioning of corporate offices and mission critical facilities, as well as on the modernization of existing building infrastructures. As New York’s largest tenant advocate, RDA is structured, from the ground up, to make sure our clients achieve 100% of their project goals in the most efficient and effective manner possible.

Since 1995, Robert Derector Telecommunications (RDT) has been providing its clients with a full range of IT-related design, engineering and consulting services. These services, which include IT infrastructure and systems engineering, electronic security and audiovisual system design, are geared toward providing robust, innovative solutions for today’s technology intensive workplace. Our principals and engineering staff have a broad range of experience that includes financial services firms, corporate offices, academic institutions, research and development facilities and government buildings.

Although many in the industry know RDA as a leader in the MEP design of high-tech tenant fit-outs and building modernizations, since 1980 we have also designed over 2 million square feet of high reliability Data Center and Trading facilities for major financial and technology institutions. The RDA Mission Critical Group (RDMC) is a team of professional design and consulting experts in the fields of Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection, Telecommunications and Security dedicated to meeting the needs of our clients with mission critical operations.
