This fund provides supplemental funding to improve student achievement by elevating teacher and principal quality through recruitment, hiring, and retention strategies to improve teacher and principal quality and increase the number of highly qualified teachers in the classroom and highly qualified principals and assistant principals in schools. The program uses scientifically based professional development interventions and holds districts and schools accountable for improvements in student academic performance.

To provide supplemental support to the campus through writing/reading expertise and instructional intervention services to teachers and students. Provide teachers and students with appropriate learning activities and experiences utilizing proven instructional strategies. Collaborate with teachers to encourage professional growth and high-impact instruction through modeling, coaching, and goal-setting. Enable students to develop competencies and skills in writing/reading to improve their overall academic performance.
