Mr. Ly founded Iveda in 2003 and has served as its CEO since the Company’s inception. Prior to the founding of IVDA, Mr. Ly held positions with several major corporations, including Applications Engineer with Metricom, Inc. (1998 to 2001), Corporate Sales at Nextel Communications (2001-2002), Market Manager at Door To Door Storage (2001-2002), and B2B Sales Manager at T-Mobile USA (2002-2004). Iveda’s new partner was looking for a unique application to add to its traditional Smart TV services, and it honed in on home and business security. IVDA had a ready solution for the manufacturer – cloud-hosted Zee ™ cameras, ideal for consumers and small businesses because of their plug-and-play feature.

Chen-Ho (“Alex”) Kuo (51) – Chief Strategy Officer . Mr. Kuo was engaged by Iveda in 2009 as a consultant to facilitate the acquisition of MEGAsys-Taiwan. In May 2011, he was hired by the Company as Senior Vice President of Global Strategies-Asia, and he was recently promoted to Chief Strategy Officer. Mr. Kuo has 11 years of executive experience at Acer Group (1987-1990, 1992-2000), where he served as an Engineer, Regional Manager for Africa, and in positions with the peripheral business and key component business lines.

In 2011, Iveda acquired MEGAsys Taiwan, a subsidiary that designs, manufactures and installs electronic security and surveillance products and solutions in the Far East. Introductions resulting from the MEGAsys acquisition allowed Iveda to develop a close working relationship with Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan’s largest applied technology research and development institution, which employs over 5,800 personnel, including approximately 1,400 Ph.Ds. and 3,150 with masters degrees.

Ms. Berg joined the Company in 2004 and was promoted to Senior VP of Operations and Marketing in 2007. She has extensive experience in developing and implementing results-driven marketing communications plans for sales lead generation, building brands, brand revitalization and customer retention in a wide range of industries. She has worked alongside CEO David Ly since joining the Company, making sure that Iveda remains focused on its goals and the realization of the founder’s vision. Ms.
