Northern Jersey ENT Associates, PA is one of the largest single-specialty New Jersey Ear, Nose, throat (ENT) group practices in Bergen County, New Jersey, with two office locations to serve you. We have been in practice for over 40 years and serve the areas of Englewood, Teaneck, Paramus, Hackensack, Oradell, Ridgewood, Midland Park, Wayne, Fairlawn, Emerson, Ramsey, Westwood, the Saddle Rivers, Hawthorne, Franklin Lakes and the surrounding towns in New Jersey.
Dr. Jerry Silver has been Dr. Lehrer’s partner for over 40 years, and also is a founding partner of the practice. Dr. Silver went to medical school in Toronto and did his Otolaryngology training in Albany as well as at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. Dr. Silver devotes his practice to the general care of the ear, nose and throat with particular emphasis placed on sinus and nasal surgery, and laser surgery. Dr. Silver devotes a portion of his practice to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea and snoring. Dr. Silver is also well versed in cosmetic and plastic surgery of the face.
The ear consists of three areas: outer ear, middle ear, and inner ear. The bones that amplify sound are in the middle ear and the hearing mechanism and nerves are housed in the inner ear, an area we can not readily see with the naked eye. The outer ear consists of the canal up to the ear drum and the outside cartilege which we call an ear.
Our highly trained and experienced group of otolaryngologists (ENT Doctors and audiologists) provide comprehensive care of the ear, nose and throat, with two convenient locations in the New Jersey, Midland Park, NJ and Teaneck, NJ.
