Description

Rail Journeys West Inc . – a luxury private rail travel company that provides various passenger rail management and consulting services. The Company also owns the former California Zephyr dome-observation car “Silver Solarium”. Like many people, Roy’s interests with trains began with a Lionel train set around the Christmas tree. A member of the RPCA since 1988, Mr. Wullich started working with the Western New York Railway Historical Society in Buffalo, NY with railcar preservation and excursion operations.

Founded in 1982, the Railroad Passenger Car Alliance was created as a resource to owners and operators of privately owned railroad passenger equipment. The primary goal was to coordinate efforts for pooling their equipment for mainline steam excursions. The popularity of the organization quickly grew and today includes over 400 members.

Several years ago all the Class I railroads in North America adopted the Umler system. And today if your railroad equipment is going to move it has to be registered under reporting marks in Umler. The process of registering reporting marks and maintaining all your car information can be a daunting job. Recognizing this, the RPCA created the Railroad Passenger Car Numbering Bureau as a service to our members. The RPCNB is an arm of the RPCA organization and is dedicated to maintaining all the data on our members cars under the RPCA reporting marks of RPCX .
