R L Laughlin has years of experience in simplifying an often complicated and expensive process: gas volume sales allocation. We've invested a great deal in the development of custom software that allows us to manage the sales allocation process quickly and accurately.

They have surrounded themselves with supervisors and employees who are dedicated to customer service and accurate gas measurement reporting. In 2009, operational management was handed over to David Canterbury , with the Laughlins remaining as owners and advisors. With many years in the oil and gas industry and experienced in field work as well as measurement theory and management, David is determined to lead the company toward continued growth, while maintaining the reputation for quality and customer service so long associated with R L Laughlin.

R L Laughlin was established in September of 1970 by Ron and Patricia Laughlin. Ron had extensive experience in natural gas measurement (meter technician, gas accounting and manager of gas measurement), gas drilling, pipeline, compressor stations, production, well operation and domestic service. His goal was to start a business offering unparalleled customer service and measurement accuracy.
