R Squared Construction was founded in the spring of 1995. The business started out with a two man crew (Dean and Robbie Rood), working in the Lake Sommerset, Illinois area. This successful partnership grew into what is now R Squared Construction Incorporated. With construction continually on the rise, R Squared looked for a new way to bring their quality workmanship to a wider range of customers. The decision was made to branch out into the building components side of construction, and R Squared Building Components was established in the spring of 2002.

Robbie also helped start R Squared construction in the spring of 1995. Robbie handles all of the outside construction management. With 18 years of framing experience under his belt, Robbie makes sure that the job gets done right, every time. By efficiently organizing the schedules, deliveries, and sub-contractors for every job, he makes sure the project is completed on schedule.

R Squared began as a framing company and we still offer that service to our customers. In fact, we still erect many of the panels that we build on our production lines. Whether it’s a small single family home or a large apartment complex, we have the resources to completely frame any building. Having this type of experience on our crews is what makes our service package the best in the business. The feedback that we get from our own crews has really helped us put out the best wall panels available. This is how we know that we are sending you skilled labor, already built in.

R Squared Building Components also offers a truss package service in addition to our wall panel production. When anyone puts up any kind of building, it is important for all the pieces to fit together. Due to our close relationship with several different truss manufacturers in the area, we can create a components package that is tailored to fit each individual job, giving our customers the precision they expect at the job site. Utilizing this service also makes it easier on our clients. We worry about getting you the right material so you don’t have to.
